Cookie Policy
Socio Pulse uses two cookies, both strictly necessary. There are no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies and no third-party trackers - which is why you are not being asked to accept anything.
What we set
| Name | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|
sp_session |
Keeps you signed in. Without it, every page would ask you to log in again. It holds a random identifier and nothing else - no personal information is stored in the cookie itself. | Until you sign out, or after 12 hours |
| CSRF token | Held inside the session, not as a separate cookie. It proves a form submission came from a page we served, which is what stops another website from making your browser take actions in your account. | With the session |
Both are set with HttpOnly (so JavaScript cannot read them),
Secure (so they are sent only over HTTPS) and SameSite
protection (so they are not sent from other sites).
What we do not set
- No Google Analytics, or any other analytics product.
- No Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, TikTok Pixel or any other advertising tag.
- No cross-site tracking, remarketing or audience-building cookies.
- No session recording, heatmaps, or behavioural profiling.
Local storage
The application stores small interface preferences in your browser's local storage - for example the calendar view you last used. This never leaves your device and is not sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes it.
Turning cookies off
You can block cookies in your browser settings, but the session cookie is required to sign in. Blocking it means you can read this public site but cannot use the application.
Third parties
When you are taken to Facebook, LinkedIn or TikTok to authorise an account, or to Stripe to pay, those services set their own cookies under their own policies. We do not control them and they are not set by us.
